An online store generates a document flow that is easy to underestimate: contracts with suppliers and dropshipping partners, supply agreements with wholesale clients, acts, delivery notes, public offers. All of this traditionally drowned in paper and “someday later” signatures. A QES closes this flow online — quickly, remotely and with full legal force. Here is how it works for e-commerce.
Who it fits
- Online stores and marketplace sellers — contracts with suppliers and buyers.
- Dropshippers — deals with suppliers, often foreign ones.
- Wholesalers and distributors — supply agreements, reconciliation acts.
- D2C brands — working with contractors, logistics, content teams.
Which documents are signed online
| Document | Scenario |
|---|---|
| Dropshipping contract | Supply, commission or cooperation — see dropshipping agreement online |
| Supply agreement | Wholesale clients, regular shipments |
| Acts and delivery notes | Closing settlements, reconciliations |
| Amendments | New goods, changes in prices and terms |
Why an electronic signature is critical for e-commerce
E-commerce runs on speed and remote counterparties. While a paper contract travels by mail, you lose days — and sometimes the supplier. In eObig you send the document as a link without registration — the counterparty signs with their QES in the browser, without an account or plugins. The signature has the same legal force as a paper one (see the legal force of an electronic signature).
A supplier abroad
Many stores work with foreign suppliers who do not have a Ukrainian QES. In the contract it is worth agreeing in advance on an acceptable signing method (a Ukrainian QES, a qualified signature under eIDAS/QES, or another format) and the law that governs the deal.
Scaling via the API
When there are many documents, manual workflow does not scale. eObig provides an API and webhooks: creating a document, a guest signing link and automatically receiving the signed version can be embedded into your own dashboard or the store's admin panel — details in integrating eObig into your CRM. On end-to-end exchange — documents with counterparties online.
What else is useful for a store
- AI assistant for quickly preparing standard contracts (AI in document workflow).
- Archive with search — the terms for each supplier at hand (electronic archive).
- Team roles — purchasing managers, accounting, real-time statuses.
In brief
- E-commerce is a flow of contracts and acts with remote, often foreign counterparties.
- Dropshipping contracts, supply agreements, acts and delivery notes are signed online in minutes with full legal force.
- The counterparty signs via a link without registration; for foreign ones, the signing method is agreed in the contract.
- The flow scales via the API and webhooks right inside your system.
